Help for victims of Yolanda Typhoon in the Philippines

My kids are excited to prepare thier relief goods for school donation gathering for the victims of typhoon Yolanda. The school announced that they are going to participate to help victims from Tacloban who have been devastated by last typhoon and I can see that this is also an opportunity to teach my kids on how to be a blessing to the needy.

School teacher said kids can donate anything that they want to bring for donation, but spicificaly mentioned that the victims need packs foods like noodles, canned goods and bottled water and medicines.
Other from these my kids also want to bring old clothes and blankets but I explained to them that the school can only bring food donations and we can bring blankets and old clothes instead to our church who also gathers donations to help.

My little one said her donation is few and we need to add more like "milk for babies mom" she said and had a sad face while fixing a pack of noodles. I know my Stephanie has great heart to help but our resources is limited to packs of noodles and packs of canned goods and bottled water. My heart touched by her word that the babies needs milk too. Ofcourse I explained to her that every little thing and donation would help families in Tacloban now and it's not her donations does matters but her heart to help and I embraced her tightly for I know my daughter have a big heart to help even on her own little way.

Zoomanity Best in Tagaytay

"Mom this is the best Sem-Break, Ever!! "
These are words from my kids after we enjoyed our day in Residence Inn, Tagaytay last week while other people busy enjoying their holidays at cemetery.

I am glad that I accepted the invitation of my friend Arnel Bautista of kahitanodito.blogspot.com during the holiday at Residence Inn Tagaytay to experience Zoo at the South. The event is so timing for long holidays and a perfect event that I can bring my kids with me to enjoy their semestral break too.

My kids and I was very surprised that not only mini zoo is the offered of Residence Inn, Tagaytay, we enjoy the scenery of  break-taking overlooking view of Taal Volcano and the other animal shows and thrilling ride in the zip line and cable car.

Our amazing experience on Zip Line
Watching my girls, I can say that they enjoyed the experience of seeing wild and farm animals alive in the mini zoo that Residence Inn had to offer.
The mini zoo has lots of python snakes, donkeys, a camel, big tigers, lions, different kids of fish, different kinds of birds, turtles, monkeys, lambs, crocodilles, rabbits, ect.
Zoomanity at its best!
Iam happy that they see on thier own eyes these animals and had a great encounter not only from textbooks.
Until now my little one still imitating the sound of the wild pig and monkeys. Talking about how big the Lion and Tiger was, and my eldest Sofia never stopped talking about our experience of ridding the zip line and cabble car, that how cold was her hands while the operator putting on her the harness.
With all the smiles my girls wears all week --really priceless!  I know they had a great semester break far from what they are expecting. I must say that this place is not just a mini zoo after all, they left  big and a wonderful experiences to everyone who visited them, a great escapade to share with family and friends.

Let's Travel Philippines Best

I am planning a vacation with my family this month since its my husband's 40th birthday. I want it to be special, since it's been a long time since our last vacation. Now I want it more memorable and perfect too with our kids.
First, I want  a vacation out of the country but when I checked the internet for our destination, i get excited with an article from yahoo.com a travelers news from www.cntraveller.com a magazine's online site, says that the Philippines ranked second in its "Top 10 hot destinations" now for 2013.
Thats a big good news for Filipinos like me, aba! My kids should experience to travel around the best vacation destination here in our own country first before travelling abroad.

Palawan
department of Tourism
Palawan Underground River
My kids should experience the beautiful Islands of Palawan. My husband and I want them to see the famous Puerto Princesa Underground River. It was named one of the new seven wonders of nature, interesting to show kids how wonderful it is not only from text books and internet. The beautiful El Nido aside from the fact that Palawan now ranked as First best tourist destination in the Philippines this year.

Boracay

Personally I love Boracay, thought its not in top lists according to the international travel magazine’s like in 2012. Never I will forget the white sand that I really want to show it to my kids minus all the bars around the beach.  The islands  is on its  third year in a list  as one of the Philippines Best to Travel + Leisure Magazine's "World's Best Awards."

Bohol
Bohol famous tourist attractions from bohol.com.ph
Bohol is in the top three tourist destinations in the Philippines. Kids are excited to see a live Tarshirs. This is the 10th largest island of the Philippine archipelago. It lies southeast from Cebu Island and is surrounded by other islands on all sides which shielded Bohol from the typhoons that often occur in the region.

It is amazing how Philippines get into top 10 of this list as second best tourist destinations amids of all the bad news all over the internet, but this is a proof that Philippines still has its best among other countries and we should be proud of it.
" Huwag maging dayuhan sa sariling bayan" and thats what we will going to do now as parents we will introduce these beautiful places to our kids soon. I can wait to visits these wonderful places again after years, after all these vacation is for my family, I just hope we can book on time and find the best travel deals on line.

How about you what is your best vacation in the Philippines best Islands?
